Where to Ballroom Dance is one of the projects that tested my skills the most but I am very pleased with the results. There were a number of challenges presented with this one becuase it is all user-driven, in other words the content comes from the public. This means a lot of validation, auto formatting, and a complete moderation system had to be put into place.
I also had to connect to google API and use it to convert every address entered into the site into a serachable longititude and latitude value. This is what allows users to search for event based on either what city they are in or by zip code.
